Emery NOT the one to blame.
Blame the Club. I am shocked that people are blaming ray Emery for being pissed after being relegated for no reason. The guy carried the team the whole year last year and all the way to th finals, so he get's injured, and rather than stating immediately that Ray was the number 1 guy and ebding any possible contrversey, the Club pitted the goalies into competition, only Emery wasn't even able to play. Gerber should have been told right away he was backing up and he should make the most of the oppertunity to get that many games and try to win over another team that needed a tender. Nope, instead the Club screwed around and created a contraversey, so everything Emery did was microscoped. LA should pick him up, make him number 1 and then finally have the bonafide #1 they need.

LA has a future number 1 in Bernier, he will very likely be a star, they only need someone on the interim. I think LA would be a good fit for him, but I'm not sure they want him.

No, Emery isn't the only problem. Management needs to take some responsibility allowing Emerys behavior to continue and fester.

Seriously, have you ever heard of a team telling a cup final goalie to screw off because he was injured?

Paddock of all people gave Emery more opportunity then he was due, and Razor did nothing with it. I was the biggest Emery proponent all year, and in the end I relented to the "Gerber Camp", because as ****ty as Gerber was, the way Razor was playing, Gerbs was better. This went beyond injury and Emery mailed it in, there was plenty of off-ice and in-office problems with him that kept him from playing the way he did last year, things we will likely never know. Emery is on his way to a buy out, I can only hope that Murray is able to salvage a draft pick from the debaucle of a three year deal that Emery was able to steal from him.

Emery was bad because he wasn't the #1 guy aoutmatically and he should have been. A steel? Just watch what he does somewhere else. Why are sens fans so negative on the cup-final guy, and so positive on the 4 striaght loser? I think the sens have a few stars who don't take losing too seriously

Did he ever play for the Reading Royals in the ECHL?

Nothing is automatic, especially when you return from injury. You always get your shot, but when you suck it up, you're brutal in the locker room, and you have attitude issues about being a team player, you don't deserve anything. Emery has had problems for a while and he finally was just out of hand.

Exactly. He couldnt' get the job done and instead of buckling down and re-earning his spot, he sulked like a spoiled child.....or a football star. If he wants a reason why he's on the otuside looking in, he's only got to look at himself in the mirror.

No, but he started the season in L.A. and he played for Lewiston in the QMJHL. As far as I know he has been in the Manchester in the AHL since his opening debut.
