Last night against NJ, Bonk had one of his best games in memory.
No-one was beating him to the loose pucks, he was shutting down NJ's top forwards, he had two assists, and was named a game star(3rd I think).
WOW!!
How do we get "Lazy-Boy" Bonk to play like that consistently?
When he comes to play, other teams' forwards know there in for a challenge.
We can do 2 things, keep reminding him his contract is up after this year & stick him on the 4th line every now and again like Martin has been. That seemed to work out well.

Whatever it takes . . .
If he plays as well as he did last night, during the playoffs, things will be real good.
I've gotten to the point where I'm fed up with Bonk's play. He's terrible on face-offs, can't kill penalties, yet is considered one of our top defensive players who shuts-down the opposing teams' top line??? I find Todd White or Bryan Smolinski have been much better then him defensively, and Spezza actually has a +/- around 11 or 12. I don't hate Bonk, but if we could trade him, I would do it if the right deal came along.
So who would be the Sens #1 center if they traded Bonk?
Maybe Smolinski or Fisher or Spezza in a couple of years.
However, the question is not whether or not to trade Bonk, but how do we consistently light a fire under him?
Personally, I would not trade Bonk.
I believe he's one of the best defensive forwards in the league when he comes to play.
The problem is: no-one knows when he is going to show up or not.
How do you motivate someone who only makes $43,000 per game or approx $2400/minute ?

It depends on who you get in return. Ottawa doesn't need the offence. I liked the Bonk for Peca trade (not necessarily a one-for-one deal) idea. I'm fed up with his attitude and lack of intensity. The guy had the whole package and never really lived up to it. He's a good player, but if he the real drive, he could have been a star IMO.

Who do you think would look great in a sens uniform, other than Peca, and Walker?(For Bonk ofcourse)

I'll assume you mean for somebody in the same market value, because, I'd love to see Peter Forsberg for Bonk, but somehow, I can't quite see that happening.
A few players come to mind. First, I'd like David Legwand. But Nashville would have to give us something else in that deal. Bonk's value is worth more then his, based on point productivity and experience.
Patrick Marleau would be another candidate. As much as Bonk might need a change of scenery, Marleau might need it even more. I don't know what kind of deal could be achieved with these 2 though. Some people would rate Marleau ahead of Bonk and vice versa.
Lastly, Damond Langkow would be another. He's a good player and would really benefit from a change as well. He's taken a bit of a backset to Nagy and Doan.
I've been a Bonk basher for years. Yes, Bonk played well against the Devils, however, for the most part Bonk has been next to useless all year as far as I'm concerned. The problem has been that Radek Bonk knows he's got it good with Jacques Martin as coach: Bonk only really has to park his butt in the neutral zone; avoid any type of physical play; stay as far away from the puck as possible; and Martin is usually happy. Hopefully Martin has FINALLY seen the light and realize that Bonk has been taking him for a long ride down a short peer for last 8 years. But I've seen Bonk's act for too many years now and he'll probably fall asleep again soon. The only hope we have as Sens fans is that he will wake up in the playoffs and play with some pride - he did last year for the first time in his career. Will he show up in the playoffs this year? Unfortunately only Radek Bonk knows the answer to that question.
