Default some more stats to chew on

A year by year comparison after 40 games
Last year:
Wins = 26
Losses = 9
Ties = 4
GF = 136
GA = 87
Points = 56

Unsure if wins/losses include overtime wins/losses, although it doesn't matter as the point outcome is the same.

This year
Wins = 22
Losses = 10
Ties = 8 (including 3 Overtime losses, which still evaluate to 1 point)
GF = 131
GA = 81
Points = 52

Pretty darn similar, except the sens are hitting their stride a little later this year.
I believe we could still challenge for the conference lead as well as the league lead

If the Sens are going to win the Northeast then theyneed to put some distance between them and the Leafs. The last 17 games of the season favor the Leafs. Ottawa plays 14 of their last 17 on the road, the Leafs play 13 of their last 17 at home.

Yeesh! I didn't realise the schedules were soooo opposite.
I knew the sens march sched stunk.
Hopefully, they can prove what a great road team they are

All in all, I hope the sens and leafs meet in the conference final, thereby assuring one of them a stanley cup birth

My mistake Leafs have 11 home games and Ottawa will have 4 home games in the last 17.

One solution to the low attendance figures in Pheonix is to paint the front of each seat with Bettman's face so that 12,000 smirking little Bettmans can be beamed to households and sports bars across Canada during games televised from Jobing.com Arena

Interesting BS (i'm the one who made that comment on UFF if you remember that :lol

I think the Leafs will hold on to the East, but It will be tough, especially with the Flyers, Devils and Sens snapping at their tail.

Sked does favour the Leafs towards the end, but we won't know what happens till that time comes

I hate making predictions but Vancouver over Ottawa in 6! Other than that wouldn't you love to see all Canadian conference finals and an all Canadain Stanley Cup final? Gary Bettman would do a diaper job in one of $600 suits.
