Default Jan 08: Ottawa at Toronto

leafs will whoop sens ass, like they do in the playoffs. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't feel sens will win.

I can already hear the excuses from the leaf fans.
Well sundin was suspended;
well nolan has a scratch on his eye;
well belfour pulled his groin;
etc, etc, etc

I wish everyone was/is healthy.
That way, when we win the only excuses left for the leafs is "the refs were against us"

settle down beavis. you're assuming the sens have already won. second, are you saying the sens wont have an easier time without those guys in the line-up? no excuses...the standings have the better team on top. besides, its just game 43 for the leafs. not game 7 of the playoffs.

You're right butthead, I am expecting a win from my sens.
Just like I expect a win everytime they step on the ice.
I believe(and so do they, I think)the sens can beat anyone.
Its called confidence.

As for it being just another game (game 43), there seems to be a lot of chatter on the leaf section to indicate fans think otherwise.

confidence is one thing. sure we all expect our teams to win, but its another thing when you act like they have already won. i wonder what the sens excuses will be when they lose.

We'll just pull out our 2003-04 "Blame everyone else" edition of excuses for the Leafs, foreword by Pat Quinn.

Just to make things even i think this will be an interesting contest due to the fact that both teams #1 goalies are hurt, the question is this when the game is over which side will be making excuses as butterfly_style said but unlike butterfly_style i think it will be ottawa fans making suxh excuses due to lalime being out of the line up but i do think he makes a good point but what will be said butterfly_style if the leafs win with out a considerable amount of their talent on the sidelines, i highly doubt that the sens fans will be able to take a loss that way without excuses

Lets see if they will say that they lost fair and square, as a matter of fact lets see if either team can depending on the outcome
:evil:

Sens 3-1

Will be a good game, but the sens are on fire, and the leafs are not as much as they once were
