Default Sens host Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay comes into the Corel Centre tonight to face the Senators, who have only lost once in their last 5 games. Lalime is scheduled to get the start and Karel Rachunek looks to be getting scratched again for indifferent play, with Curtis Leschyshyn getting into the line-up for the first time in a couple weeks. Anton Volchenkov is out indefinitely with a separated shoulder, and is not expected back anytime soon. Ottawa play's a large portion of their games at home over the next while, so if they want to catch-up to the conference/division leaders, they will really have to start making a run now as their schedule get's pretty rough towards the end of the season with many road games, especially in March.

I can see the Sens winning this game.. they've almost officialy broke out of their slump, while tampa is in the middle of one. Tampa hasn't won in quite a few games and Ottawa will take advantage of that.

I'm predicting a 4-1 win.

Well the Bolts did win two in a row before dropping their last game but their play has levelled off. Ottawa has looked a lot better of late. I think Ottawa will take it but it should be a good test for them.

The sens are playing well right now, not as good as they can be. But, better than usual this season.

The TB Lightning are not playing so good.

I think it will be 3-2 OT Ottawa..with Lalime playing an excellent game.

About Rachunek..do you think his days are numbered in Ottawa?

TB and Ottawa are both pretty good teams...i'm going to have to go with ottawa 3-2 in possible OT.

Well the Sens pretty much dominated this game but despite Tampa's lack of shots they had several scoring chances and when they did manage a shot it was a very good chance. I thought that this was the best game that I have seen Lalime play this year. He made 4 or 5 huge saves in the 2nd when it was 2-1 Ottawa.
