Default Senators visit Florida

The Senators make a visit to Miami tonight to take on the Panthers. The Panthers were the team that beat Ottawa 3-2 on Oct. 30th that sent them into their funk in November where they only won 4 games. Lalime didn't make the trip because of the flu and Ray Emery was called up to back-up Martin Prusek who get's the start tonight.
Ottawa finally scored the first goal in a game the other night for the first time in 13 games, so I'm sure they will be looking for a good start (because team's like to look for bad starts sometimes... ). When they score the first goal, they are 5-2, when they don't....well, you get my drift. The Senators really need to start making a statement right now if they want to get back into the upper echelons of the Eastern Conference, instead of floundering with the borderline teams!!!

So, so true

Well the Panthers are floundering right now so it should be a good opportunity for the Sens to put up back to back wins. I predict Havlat will have 6 goals tonight and the final score will be 11-1. After pounding the Flyers the other night  the Panthers will be no match for the mighty Sens.

A good effort again tonight. Some timely goals. Good road win with Prusek earning his first career shut-out. Bury this one and move onto the Lightning tomorrow.

good game. Florida didn't look like they were awake that game. Glad Prusek got a SO. Ottawa played well on the PP...overall Ottawa deserved the win and earned the win... unlike what the flyers do

Damn what a joke of a game. I wathced the first two periods (well flicked back and forth) and from what I saw it was all Sens all the time. Florida had the odd chance but were basically dominated by the Sens. This is more of the Sens that we are use to.

Well, nice to see the Sens wrap up their mini trip to Florida with a 4-1 win. Spezza collects 2 goals and Prusek continued his strong play making the saves when he was needed. Big game Saturday against the Devils. Once again, bury this win and move on!!!

Sens look solid, back to dominating opponents.

Right on Prusek! He seems to have back his confidence..only 2goals against in 3 games..wow..I'd keep playing him while he's hot
