John Muckler isn't happy with Vancouver Canucks winger Magnus Arvedson. The Senators GM indicated he wasn't impressed when he read Arvedson, a former Senator who became an unrestricted free agent last July 1, told reporters his first choice was to return to Ottawa, but the club "didn't offer me anything, not even $100."
Muckler told the Ottawa Sun that the Swede, who was in town with his Canucks teammates to face the Senators last night at the Corel Centre, either has a selective memory or he's confused.
"That's not quite right," Muckler told the Sun. "(Director of legal affairs) Peter (Chiarelli) spoke with Arvedson's agent and indicated we'd be happy to have him back at less than the ($1.6 million US) he'd made the last year."
IMO, it was in the best interest of both sides to walk away. Arvedson had drawn the ire of many Senators fans with inconsistent play, especially in the playoffs. It was time to move on!!!

Ire? Inconsistent play? Nah! What about the fans who wanted to bear his babies? ock: He played very well for us over all.

If you want to have Arvedson's baby, go right ahead. It wouldn't surprise me if Arvedson was interested into that sort of thing. I didn't say he didn't play well, but he could have been better. He always left me with the impression that he was playing to collect his paycheque.

Wow. I can't disagree with this post.
Good work! k:

Maybe I do want to have his baby. It's a free country.
