Default Ottawa at Atlanta

Okay the passive approach is not working. So let's try the bigbigjim overly optimistic early chicken-countin' approach. It seems to work for the Canucks.

Daaaamn these Senators are one b*tchin' offensive powerhouse. Who can withstand that? No one, that's who! Prusek in nets. Damn he's good.

Sens 5 Thrash 1

Just because. :]

Go Sens $@#

You gotta think the Sens will bounce back soon....... but I think Atlanta 5-2 will be the score

I like seeing the Sens suffering but, I must admit, they'll be in the Easter Confernce finals come playoff time.. they'll snap their skid by x-mas

A little wanton optimism and premature chicken counting paid off in spades :] Prusek actually didn't look bad on the goals but you gotta do something when you go down 3. The goal to tie it up was a good break. It was about time Ottawa got a good break. A good win and well deserved from what I could tell. Not many teams win when they only get 12 shots on goal like Atlanta did.

Well now you Sens fans can be happy for a couple of days until the Canucks ruin your good mood $@#

That was a nice win. They certainly worked hard and got back to the basics which they have been really lacking. Still concerned with the lousy early leads. That was their 10th straight game where they gave up the first goal. Prusek stunk it up early, but Lalime played solid when he came in for relief. Still, no time to sit on their laurels now. Winning this game does nothing to dispell that they are slumping, they still have to be better, especially with the Canucks coming in on Thursday!!!

It will be a good game on Thursday. Both teams will be coming of a game which could be a turning point for either team.

May the best team win

Marc Savard boards Wade Redden with no penalty called almost breaking Wade Redden's neck. Wade Redden is pissed. Wade Redden gets up and punches Marc Savard in the face hard enough that you can see Marc Savard's head snack back on the long range camera. Wade Redden takes a revenge penalty. Wade Redden returns and scores a goal. New, angrier Wade Redden has six goals in last seven games. Wade Redden may smack Margnus Arvedsson or a Sedin or two in next game. :]

Bob Dole says Bob Dole thinks so.
