I know its early in the season but what is happening to the Stanley Cup favorites? Games like these are a must win and will come back to bite the Sens in the A$$ at the end of the season.
As someone said before here (I forget who, too lazy to check), 'they are in a slump - better now then later.'
Yeah, that was myself whom said that 8)

Ottawa is experiencing a slump now..and its better to experience it now, rather than later.
at least they got 1 point out of it...i see that if they goto OT it's not really a loss...they still got 1 point...good enough...but against Pittsburgh it's sad...should have got the win but i guess every team losses against bad teams once in a while. hope they rebound next game.

I'm fairly certain I said it first k:
The Pens aren't very good, in fact they are bad but they'll win once in a while. Caron stood on his head or it wouldn't have been close.

jim that is becoming more and more of an excuse, latley when it comes to the Sens the opposing goalie is more often then not standing on his head. What I mean by that is more often then not they are meeting up against a "hot goalie", my question is, are they really meeting up with a "hot goalie" or are they starting to believe in the so-called experts who handed them the cup weeks ago?

One solution to the low attendance figures in Pheonix is to paint the front of each seat with Bettman's face so that 12,000 smirking little Bettmans can be beamed to households and sports bars across Canada during games televised from Jobing.com Arena

That's a good point. In some of the games, they have run into hot goalies, there's no doubt about that. However, that's the nature of the game, goalies play extremely well. Good teams overcome those kinds of obstacles and Ottawa isn't right now. Lose 1-0, lose 5-4, does it make the loss any different??? No!!!
