Well if nobody else is going to mention it I will. Ottawa is sure underachieving lately. Sucking actually. Winless in 5? Maybe its Roger Nielson's abilities that they're missing. Or that scrappy departed Magnus Arvedsson. Mike Fisher has been gone for a while? Our best offensive player seems to be "Highlight Reel" Schaefer. It looks like its all over there Craven. $@#
Ottawa played their best game in a while, too bad the result was not there. Am i disappointed in how things have gone this far??? Sure, I'd be lying if I said otherwise, but I'm not worried at this point. The last 2 games I have seen signs of improvement in every facet of their game except the PP, which has about 4 chances in the last 2 games. Sure Schaefer has been playing well, but there hasn't been one game yet where anybody has been better then Hossa on either side. He is just starting to dominate!!!
Man.. two thread, and both of you forgot the score...take a look at my leaf victory thread, and see how you're supposed to do post-game threads.
anyways to keep this ontopic.... I didn;t watch the game tonight. Had my face staring at the Leaf game, but from what I heard, the Devils simply are too good for the Sens.
Anyways, the Sens aren't out of it yet. So don't jump off the bandwagonn.
The same thing happened to the Devils at the start of the season they went 0-3-2 and have won i think 5 straight then a loss and then 2 more wins. I personally watched the game and Marty stole the game. Then Sens did get enough shots on goal (26) its just that Brodeur came up big.
Well i'm a little suprised the sens lost this one considering the fact the devils played a hard fought game against the leafs the night before well Ottawa was sitting resting and waiting for this game. It'll be intresting to see what happens now with the sens after going 5 games without a win.
Never saw this one but you can't be too hard on them. Brodeur can be unbeatable at times. They've just hit a rough patch. They're still a good team(even though they lost Arvy the enforcer ) and will come out of this funk. Perhaps some kind of minor trade could wake them up. Sometimes a small move can pay big dividends. Figure out who the deadwood on your team is and ship him out of town. Look how much better my Canucks started playing once they dumped Hlavac and Druken(Drunken).

As I've said in another thread are they starting to read the papers and believe what everyone has said about them? Quite a few pundits have already given them the Cup and/or have called them Cup contenders, with reason of course, but the fact is there is an 82 game schedule to trudge through.
How many times have we seen a team made contenders by the press and then stumble their way, honestly how many people out there picked Anahiem to make it to the finals last season? or please tell me you picked Carolina to make it all the way, if you did why haven't you taken up residence in Las Vegas raking in the bucks????

One solution to the low attendance figures in Pheonix is to paint the front of each seat with Bettman's face so that 12,000 smirking little Bettmans can be beamed to households and sports bars across Canada during games televised from Jobing.com Arena
Personally I'm really not concerned about this. I think Muckler's talk is just a motivational bluff (that isn't working). None of the key players are going anywhere. Ottawa will get into their groove eventually. They started off slowly last year and I don't think they passed streaking Boston until Chrsitmas. And they ended up placing pretty well. huh?
