Default Sens annihilate Caps. Only ashes left.

I don't usually like singing about how good the Sens play because they usually play pretty well, there are lots of other singers and it just seems to p*ss people off. But Washington was absolutely slaughtered tonight. Holy sh*t. In the first 10 minutes of the third period alone I think Ottawa took 18 shots. What is Jagr's problem? And uh Rusty? Patrick Lalime played really well tonight. I thought you would want to know buddy because I know you told me you are such a huge lalalalime fan.

Kolzig slammed his stick into the wall as he was chased midway through the third -- I wonder who he is mad at? ... his non-existent defence I guess.

Hey it's still early in the season grimster

Why we couldn't beat them is puzzling to me.

BTW good game

One solution to the low attendance figures in Pheonix is to paint the front of each seat with Bettman's face so that 12,000 smirking little Bettmans can be beamed to households and sports bars across Canada during games televised from Jobing.com Arena

Was at the game. Ottawa put on a clinic in the third, that was just pathetic by the Capitals. I didn't even notice Jagr at all, completely invisible. Bonk had another strong game (must be a contract year!!!) and did Hossa ever blow that goal past Kolzig in the second. Ottawa still gave up too many scoring chances, but Lalime came to the rescue. Volchenkov apparently had a concussion in the first, which sucks...thank god for our depth on defense!!!

Good solid win by the Sens

Looking very convincing so far.

Everytime they play, its like they are a threat to win, and a powerful elite team. They have never really been like that before, to this degree.

You Sens fans are always so full of your own team. Sheesh it is getting pretty bad after only one solid season.

I don't think beating Washington is something to brag about. You shoulda beat them 10-1 the way they're playing

Well, bigbigjim, that depends on how you view the term solid. IMO, Ottawa has had 7 straight playoff appearances, which is pretty solid. They've made it to at least the 2nd round 3 times, which isn't great, but not god awful, and they went to conference finals last season, losing game 7 in the last 2 minutes. With an even better team this year then last, and being in a 'supposed' weaker conference, they have much to look forward to.

Craven lighten up a little. Of course your team is solid. If they were carrying a little more luck they would have beaten the Devils in game 7.

Hint for Craven: when I put a bunch of smileys in my post it means I'm not being dead serious.

I looked up solid in the dictionary and there was a picture of the Sens from when they broke training camp this year.

Strange but true.
