Default Ottawa beats Toronto 2-1

In a scrappy game, the Sens once again beat the Leafs. Since when did Pushor become a punching bag, and the lovely Leafs were running Lalime. Anyone go to the game? Thoughts??

Did they? Oh. Well, everyone knows the Sens can beat the Leafs in a non-playoff game.

Why those are some of the best Toronto players.

Craven M are you there? Which of Ottawa's power forwards scored the goals?

Let's get this season underway already...

...and provide the source that I went around saying that Ottawa has all these power forwards there Grim2 as you try to kiss everyone elses ass???

I was at the game FYI. Some great scraps. Spezza with a real nice cheapshot on Green in the third period I think it was. I found it frusterating watching the game and not being sure of who the players were. Ottawa didn't have some good players dressed either:

Alfredsson
White
Smolinski
Varada
Havlat(I guess that doesn't count)
Fisher
Phillips
Rachunek
Volchenkov

Although I'd agree that Ottawa did have a better line-up, mostly because we are a deeper team, and simply better!!! You could see that some of the Leafs players were a bit sluggish, maybe from Sweden still.

I'm sure many of you will jump on me as another "homer' pick, but Ottawa is better then Vancouver. The Canucks are not the team(s) to beat in the West. Ottawa clearly is one of the best (2) teams in the East. Vancouver is good, but I'd still rank the Wings, Avalanche and Stars ahead of them at this point heading into the season.

The Sens have yet to win a series against the Leafs in the playoffs yes, but I have to point something out for you. The last time they met it went to 7, so they can beat the Leafs in a playoff game. We were waiting for the Leafs last year, but sadly the Leafs got their asses handed to them in Game 7 against Philly, who we beat in 6. Oh well......

Did u see some of the kids who the Sens were playing? The funny thing is we didnt play all our stars because we let the kids have a go at it, whereas of your list of Leafs thats did not to play, I think Domi and Sundin are the only ones who arent hurt. The friggin pre-season isnt over and the wheelchairs are out for the Leafs. Maybe next year they'll stay in North America and play some AHL teams to boost the confidence instead of going to Sweden and getting banged up...
