I happen to agree with him.
You must have missed game 6.

Dallas Drake scored his first of the playoffs and Draper got one himself.

I'm so excited to see this series, even more than on the level of being a Penguins fan, I'm just excited because it should be a great series!

This will be a great series. I honestly don't know who to pick but I'll take Detroit because they have a better defense.

I voted Pittsburgh in 7. Itīll be great, both teams deserved. I think the Wings are a stronger, better balanced team, but the Penguins have Hossa, Crosby and, especially, Malkin; I think their talent will be decisive here.

yes, and dallas drake and draper who scored with his mouth lol - just a little joke hehe -

also scored in the game when they got their conference trophy.

I agree with you now, all the lines of detroit can do something. But there is still that danger, partially because the dadsyuk/zetterberg line is so talented (and Dadsyuk is my favorite red wing of this new Red wings team incidentally).

He actually reminds me of Kozlov - and actually he has Kozlov's number 13.

Nice photos. If you make, please take a Colorado Avalanche photo. Thanks.

I miss Kozlov.

But I am not too worried about relying on our top guys. Franzen lit up the lamp and despite his injury we were able to do well.

Any status on him?

The only downside the penguins will have is the battle vs the vetran players. Flashback to the Penguins Round 2 vs the Rangers the 4-1 series win wasnt as dominating as some may say well thats where expierence helps. The Penguins had there hands full out-scoring the Rangers 15-12 and i thought fatigue would set after that series then vs the Flyers but hell it never happened they went on to outscore the Flyers 20-9 in the eastern confrence finals. The Penguins showed me a lot how to whip some ass in that eastern confrence finals. If anything they have to have loads of confidence now. Even vs the Wings.

The Penguins will get it done in 5 close games and everyone in the NHL offices will cream in the underwear as this is what they been wishing for.

Default Just my 2 cents...go wings!

Good comments from lots of you already. I don't have a lot to add, but that never kept me quiet before, so here I go!

I agree with Garb who asked how Fleury will handle the barrage of shots the wings will throw at him! In one power play recently (not game 6) they had 7 shots on goal in one power play! Last night, they held Dallas to 3 shots in 3 consecutive power plays, combined!

I live in Pittsburgh, so I watch the Pens a lot, and the Wings haven't been on much at all around here till the playoffs. I'm no expert, but my naive eyes suggest to me that the Wings' speed combined with their superbly accurate passing gives them a big edge. And not only the accuracy of their passes, but the sheer velocity of them impresses me. It seems to me, fairly often, that many of the Pens' passes are slower than the Wings' passing seems, and that by itself seems to speed up the whole game when the Wings are playing. Am I imagining it or does anyone else tend to see those trends as well? Just asking...

Right that's the best advantage Detroit has over Pittsburgh. Lidstrom and Rafalski will have the better first pass out of their own zone which will make it far easier for Detroit to set up their attack, and much more difficult for Pittsburgh to do the same.

The Pens have a decent blueline with guys like Ryan Whitney and Kris Letang, but there's no one the caliber of Lidstrom or Rafalski on that blueline. Hell Mattias Ohlund may very well be better than anyone on that Pittsburgh blueline.
