Forget the Ottawa series this year, if you think that was an accomplishment, you're in for it with the Flyers. Ottawa was a joke of a team coming apart at the seams. They barely played .500 hockey for most of the year and the only reason they made the playoffs was the big lead they built in the beginning of the year when they started out on fire. They were in a tail spin for several months before they met their shadow and finally crashed.

Right, they can cause strokes among other things.

True, Derrick Thomas ( Linebacker Kansas City Chiefs ) was unfortunately killed by a blood clot in his leg after a car accident.

your attitude towards OTT and thus to PIT is not entirely dissimilar to a certain fan of MON when regarding BOS.

of course they can... and heart attacks and myriad other issues. (tis never a good thing to have clogged pipes.)

needless to say, i'm sure PHI have adequate medical expertise on hand, to ice one of their key players if they needed just an aspirin.

if nothing else, your refusal to see the blatant facetiousness in my comments, suggests that maybe the stress of this imminent series is getting to you!

Some might say that no matter what happens, the year would be considered a success for both teams. But try to say that to either team right now, because the only way at the moment that they will consider it a success is if they are the ones hoisting Lord Stanley's cup in June.
Sounds like a Pens fan coming to terms with where the pens will be at series end and already justifing the pens playoff disapointment.

This is going to be an absolutely fantastic series! cant wait for it to start!

is there anyone who knows a free streaming site by any chance?
theres hockeystreams.com i'd want to know if there's something similar that's free. I use them now and they're great but being a student i'm running low on cash.

Thanks!

I said that "some" might say. Not me, at this point anything less than the cup, when you get to this point, just makes you another one of the losers.

Except unlike Captain Delisional, he's pretty much on the mark.

God that's a painful thing to say.

The Sens were for the second half of the season reminded me a lot of the 1988 BlueJays. The team was a zoo, Emery took the role of George Bell and their manager had as much luck of controlling the circus as Jimy Williams did. That team wasnt' going to get anywhere, and neither really did.

If he could stand up for himself he'd still be in Edmonton.

No I think Pittsburgh is a solid team, I just don't think their being 8-1 in the playoffs tells the whole story. I don't think there was anyone in the playoffs, east or west that Ottawa could have beat.

It was a really stressful day at the office, not so much stress, but complete frustration with meatheads who can't do their jobs.
