Coburn is still more than likely not going to play tomorrow...at least that's what I read this morning, but it sounds like Timonen is a go. Should be a big boost to a power play that was finding it's stride in game 4.

I don't think this is gonna change much, Timonen will still be off somewhat after missing a bunch of games and whos to say he's 100%?

A 75% or better Timonen is better than a Modry or even Parent. I liked how Parent played in Game 4 though.

Flyers win, no prediction. Let's go Flyers...

True, but I thought Parent was good in game 4 too.

I'm wondering who he will replace or if the Flyers will play with 7 defensemen in case Timonen has trouble.

I'll take Parent over Modry.

Since when is Timonen superman? The guy averages under 40 points a season. That's your excuse for getting soundly beaten in almost every game?

You need to watch a little closer, its not alwas about points someties its about that first pass from the defensive zone and Timonen excels @ it.

What are you talking about? He's a very solid puck moving defenseman getting the puck out on the first pass and he's been key on the Flyers power play. Sometimes, I really think you're completely clueless. It's not always about points. Try taking the top two defensemen out of the line up for any team in the league and see what happens.

deflections, scrambles,.....yeah, I guess you could say thats what i mean.

They dont make the pretty little goals like the penguins love to do. I like the little pretty strategically planned goals the best imo.

and they dont play like they dont wait for good scoring opportunities and/or for the goalie to make the first move before making their move. Its almost like they try for a deflection and hope it works.

I dont wish to offend anyone thats just my opinion from watching a lot of hockey.

although yea the crazy goals work, and I guess i get your point because i cheer for the Habs if the puck goes in on a deflection or a scramble because like the other flyer said it still counts on the scoreboard Im not that fussy about goals being scored that way. Its almost like a fluke or almost luck or something (although deflections and scrambles can be planned strategically) but I think you see my point.

btw, can someone tell me about the game today? who won and who scored and how biron and fleury played?

Missed the game again due to having to go to university and work on an essay :(
