Terrible call on Hatcher to lead to the second goal. Where was the hook refs? Are we favoring Malkin or what?

Update on Braydon Coburn is that he needed something like 40 stitches to close the gash, and his left eye is swollen shut. Looks like lots of ice in his future, not sure if he'll be back for Tuesday's game.

If the injury is that severe, I doubt he will be able to play next game.

looks like Birons inconsistant play has showed up in the play offs as it plagued him all season long.

If he could stand up for himself he'd still be in Edmonton.

It's unfortunate that in both main threads people are complaining about the refs and b1tching at each other about what players are doing after the whistle rather than talking hockey.

It's setting up to be a great Stanley Cup Final between two of the most, if not the most, talented lineups in hockey. Statistically speaking, it's not often we get to see two of the best regular season teams meet in the Cup Final.

And you'd think the fans of the four remaining teams would be appreciative that their teams are still playing. There are 26 other markets that would love to still be involved in the fight. You guys should try enjoying it a little more and not take it for granted so much.

Just my two cents.

I don't need to enjoy the Eastern Conference cause my team isn't in it.

But I still don't like the fact that Malkin received special treatment for Hatcher's hook. It was not a good call and it led to Pittsburgh's power play (which looks very sharp) to score a goal.

Did it change the game? Possibly, but the Flyers didn't help with the multiple turnovers so they are at fault for shooting themselves in the foot.

WHAT??

Have you even been watching.? or are you just shooting from the lip.?? To say that the Flyers are trailing in this series because of Biron is assinine and dead wrong.

Looks like you need to get your eyes checked because you obviously are blind.

Flyers played a better 2nd period. Got pucks deep more and got to the net. Briere and Prospal need to get their games. Hopefully playing at home will get them going. They can get away from the shutdown pair because of last change. Losing Coburn will be tough, hopefully Stevens puts Guenin and Parent in on defense. It would be good to have 7 d-men because Hatch can't handle all that time. Roll 3 lines and switch in Kappy and Dowd in when needed.
