As for the Flyers only won because of a tripping penalty....ya. That's absically taking the blame away from where it should be put, and that is the Washington team. Silly mistakes at key moments sunk them as the Flyers took advantage of their mental laspes. That's the long and short of it.

I had more than enough complaints about the officials in the series as a whole, but to blame the refs when they got two calls right that resulted in two goals by the Flyers is ridiculous.

None of my gripes with the officiating in the series, and the calls were on both sides, were when the calls were wrong or missed, not good calls that I simply didn't like.

As you said, blaming the refs for those two correct calls is simply making excuses.

Barry's still pissed about losing to the Habs oh so long ago. Good to see he knows as much about his new gig as he did about his old one with the Kings

I was posting it as he's probably the only analyst this round that picks the Flyers.

Bucci was the only one last round to pick the Flyers over the Capitals from ESPN.

Ya I figured that it wa because of that reason. I just think he's an inferior analyst, coach, etc...hell half the folks on this board do a better job then him.

As for Bucci being the only one from ESPN picking the Flyers fro the last round, that realyl doesn't say a lot for ESPN IMO.

Yup, it'll be be done soon. I wasn't here yesterday so it couldn't be changed until now. If Washington had gotten by the Flyers though you might even have seen a Capitals avatar suddenly pop up, but alas... I guess I'll have to wait until next year.
