Well gang, some pretty good posts to start this thread. Since it was learned these teams would meet I thought of a few things.
This Flyers team has got some moxie. They started off this year with a massive bang and then somewhere in the mix lost sight of themselves or whatever, I am not sure. But when the time was right they figured it out, or themselves or whatever. I admit, I don't follow them like many of you. I know I've always respected them so for what it's worth.
I think Richards is about ready to arrive. I said it two years ago that this guy was the future captain of the Flyers and some thought I was gonzo upstairs.
I think the Flyer D is very well experienced in Smith and Hatcher.
Biron is talented. I've always seen that in him. Funny, He and Briere leave Buffalo and who's where today?
Briere. Here's a guy who could really stick it to Montreal. The BS he has heard about not signing in Montreal blah blah blah. If I am coaching the Habs, I'd have someone glued to his arse.
Lupul Upshall and Carter need to add to the score sheet.
The habs are slick. Price rocks. I am astonished he's not a Calder candidate.
Koivu's in. That's good for the habs. They seem like anyone can score at any time. Deadly mix on that team.
Where is Ryder been?
The Kostitsyn boys are pretty balanced scores.
All in all the numbers on this are very solid both ways.
I have a feeling the Flyers win in 4.
LMAO. Okay. Seriously, the Flyers are going to find a way to win this. Boston nearly pushed the Habs right off the cliff. A battered and beaten team "just" about beat them....And Richards looks like he's on a mission.
Flyers in 6.
