Hey jt, I wonder what kind of baby a flyers fan can make with a leafs fan? I'm pretty sure most of Leafs nation is on the Flyers band wagon for at least this series. LOL

I don't know, but I doubt my wife would be happy if I were to find out. What kind of baby can two Flyers fans make? That's a scary thought.
This is going to be a great series. The first round with the Caps/Flyers was probably one of the most exciting series. No team won any game by more than 2 other than Game 3 with the empty netter. I think there was only 1 empty net goal the entire series. 2 overtime games and overtime in Game 7...what more can you ask for? The San Jose/Calgary series was great, too.
I expect this series to be very entertaining. If the Flyers this one off, the Eastern Conference finals will be amazing...Flyers/Rangers or Flyers/Penguins...
All I have to say is just one Canadian team left to beat to ensure another American-won Stanley Cup...it will be the end of TSN's coverage of the NHL for the year.
I love how the East is completely up for grabs. There is no standout favorite to go all the way from the East. Each team is going to have a tough matchup this round.
Makes for great hockey.
Except, there's no hockey tonight...BOOOOOOOOOO!!! Why couldn't the Detroit/Colorado series start tonight. I really hope that rivalry picks back up.

Of the first 15 voters, 8 are favoring the Habs, 7 for the Flyers.
I can only take a wild guess as to who picked Habs in 4...

Boston outplayed us blablabla on and on and on...
They outplay us but we won and Carbo caoched like an idiot trying to play the trap and I think he learned his lesson.
And our offense was not good because we faced the most boring defensive system of the NHL while playing the trap in 5 games out of 7.The 2 games we dont play trap was game 1 and game 7.Four and Five goals against 1 by Boston.Thats our style , and Carbo need to stop trying to protect his leads , no matter if its a series lead or a game lead.
Sometimes we lead by 1 or 2 and he stop the 2 guys forechecking to 1 guy forechecking , EVERYTIME we have a lot of trouble.EVERYTIME.
We will destroy those oranges.
Theres no way we lose this series.
Its gonna be easier than Boston thats for sure.
Flyers have offense power but no defense , we have the 2.
And I dont give a (what you want here) if Price is a franchise goalie or not , but if you doubt hes already better than Biron than you just dont know how to judge a goalies talent and mental toughness
Brière and Biron better be VERY strong mentally or they are toast every game in MTL cause we are gonna boo them I can assure you.Boo them LOUD LOUD LOUD LOUD , everytime he will touch the puck , and the BIIII-RONNNN BIIIII-RONNNN will be loud too.
The reason I think its gonna be over in 5 is Im sure we win every home game and I think we'll win a game in Philly in game 3 or game 4 to finish those oranges in game 5.

I have a feeling you and I will never agree
Flyers in 6 or 7. They have an equal Defense to Boston and much better scoring while playing rougher. Montreal is a soft team whose scoring dried up completely in the playoffs against the bottom ranked team and whose goalie was prone to having explosive bad games.
See? I can exaggerate too

I'm going to take the Habs in 6 in this one, as I think their powerplay will come alive against the Flyers.
That said, you have to think Briere and Biron will be cranked up for this series. If you're looking for a big upset in the second round, this could be it.

It wil be an interesting series. Maybe before the BOS-MTL series, I would have said that the Habs would kill the Flyers. But now not so much. I think the Habs will win in 6 or 7 but you never know. Here's to a good series between the Flyers and Habs. Going old school, back to the rivalry of the 70s and 80s.

Leaf Nation hops bandwagons in the playoffs so much they could qualify for frequent flyer miles.

If they were doomed wouldn't it be a sweep?
And Habs in seven, not because I feel it'll take that long, but because I want ti to be a drawn out series (as many wins as the Flyers can get without winning the series will make the better half sort of happy.) Either way whoever wins this series I'm pulling for till to the Cup. (although I'm hoping it's the Habs.)

I think that Montreal is doomed because the Flyer's will get inside of the Habs' head. The Flyers play physical, they play hard every shift AND score, Boston nearly shut them down because they outworked the Habs. In general, I think the soft Habs will succumb to the Flyers ability to hit and score.
