It's hard to stay interested in this league lately.
I don't watch as many games anymore, these strikes and lockouts have really made it hard to respect the players and league.
All the small mom&pop restaurants, pups, giftshops, ect, around the arena's get hurt bad or close their doors for good with every strike/lockout.
Not to mention us fans, we are the ones who made the league/players careers possible. We pay them millions of dollars each to entertain us, but they will screw us for just a little bit more.
Lately I've become much more interested in my regional scene (WHL), lots of good talent, and they play because they love the sport, not for money.

Fans forgive quickly once the games start. For me, I'm back into excitement mode. Have center ice, watch NHL On The Fly every night.

Am I happy with what happened, heck no.

But I love to watch the game, I'm glad its back.

If you're no longer interested in the NHL, I seriously doubt your commitment and enthusiasm for it prior to the lockout. The NHL is back, and better than ever. It's time to get over it and stop whining.
