Default Stanley Cup

How much money does an NHL team get for winning the Stanley Cup?

how ever much money they pulled in through ticket sales getting to the SCF, and broadcasting rights and so on.

It not about how much a team needs to spend to be a Stanley Cup champion. It's about how much heart the players on that team has that'll win the Cup. Vancouver Sucks is a perfect example cause their one of the highest paid NHL team with no heart to win a Stanley Cup and never will cause they draft and trade for skilled players with no metal to backup a run for the Stanley Cup. The Nuckleheads also don't like drafting North American players who have gone onto to win a Memorial Cup and instead look for skilled yet soft European players with no grit. Luckily on Detroit knows the secret in draft Euro players with grit. Let's hope they don't tell Vancouver about so that the Canucks will continue their streak of being Losers and Jokes of the NHL.

Unlike baseball, hockey teams are built through the draft. Teams still need a good mix of free agents and veteran players. But a young nucleus that enjoys playing together is very important. I would rather have a group of scrappers and fighters than a group of finesse offensive players like Sidney Crosby.
