Default Who Will Host 2013 Winter Classic?

In my opinion, there are only a few possibilities.

Comerica Park - Detroit, MI
Rogers Centre (with roof open) - Toronto
Coors Field or Invesco at Mile High - Denver, CO
Ohio Stadium - Columbus, OH
Metlife Stadium - New York, NY
Target Field - Twin Cities

The idea is that the venue is cold in January. No way you will ever see the Florida Panthers or Tampa Bay Lightning host a Winter Classic.

Remember that exhibition game the Kings played outdoors in Las Vegas 20 years ago? The game was struck by a swarm of grasshoppers, which then ended up on the ice. By the end of the game, there were dead bugs EVERYWHERE on the ice surface. heh

I do not remember but Las Vegas isn't and never will be a place for hockey. Hard to get excited for hockey when it's 100 degrees outside.
