I kinda thought Green deserved it little more, but I have no problem with Chara winning it.

i thought Chara would not win it. I thought lidstrom. But chara won it and yes he did deserve it ,best guy on the pp. BEAST OF THE EAST!

I would have voted Green, but I don't think Chara is undeserving of it.

Chara is deserving. However the way Green dominated the offensive side of the puck would have won my vote.

I respect the opinions of others about Green's offesive domination, and it was very impressive. But to me, and I have said this before, the Norris goes to the best defenceman. You know, the guy that plays defence and stops the other teams' forwards. Green is certainly not the best at that between himself, Lidstrom, and Chara. Now, he certainly has more offensive upside, but again, the trophy goes to the best defenceman. Chara was the best guy playing defence this year, bar none.

Take the best Offensive defenseman's contribution and say his effort is worth 10pts. Then take the best defensive defenseman's contribution and say his effort is worth 10pts. Then compare the rest of the league to those standards. I don't think the defensive difference between Green and Chara or Lidstrom is as great as the offensive difference was between them.
