Not hard delivering a big hit when the guys either looking behind him or islooking down at his feet, eh? I couldn't help but notice all those clips were old...
Kind of reminds you of your sloppy seconds big hitting overrated Dman eh.!!

That last hit was a boarder-line penalty too, May didn't have the puck his team-mate did and thats called interference hitting somebody without the puck.
I have no respect for Sundin as a player or as a person, after all his talk about not being a rent-a-player last year and not wanting to be traded from the leafs cause he believed a player should be with his team the whole year he pulls all this BS.
The Casucks will always be irrelivant cause they've done nothing and will never do anything. Heck even when they might do something they lose to ex-oilers!
Being an Oiler fan over the past 15 years you don't know what it is like for an in-demand free agent to want to play for your team. Heck the Oilers are now most famous for guys wanting out or having to be traded for payroll reasons.

And I'm hurt by that, why? If somebody doesn't want to play in edmonton good for them, and if a guy like pronger cheats on his wife and she wants him out of edmonton thats there problem.
And for the most part players don't ask to be traded out of Edmonton, Comerie was traded cause he was sleeping with Tomi Salo's wife and it caused major strife on the team and ruined Tomi's playing Career.
you can make fun of are payroll issues and players asking for trades all day but I can still remeber 2 of the 5 Edmonton Stanley cup wins, how many vancouver cup wins can you remeber?

These statements are still complete unfounded horsecrap.
Its funny the hilarious lies fans start to make up when a player does not want to play for their team, or if they want a player gone.
The Pronger situation at least, has been proven to be a lie. I am not sure about the Comrie situation because this is the first I have heard of it, but knowing fans track records for lying, its probably horsecrap too

Oh so it is adultry and not poor management decisions that expalins the past 15 years, save for one fluke playoff run. Ok you go with that.

Actually I don't take those things from random fans I hear them from people inside the oilers Organization, nothing has been proven that Pronger wasn't sleeping around, and he would never Say why he wanted out.
Comrie got punched in the face by Jason Smith just before he was traded after all that stuff about sleeping with Tomi's wife came out.

Thats right it wasn't the trade @ the end of the year that got us Roloson just before the playoffs that got us the cup run. Peter Pocklington didn't run the oilers poorly he ran everyone of his other business badly and used the oilers to try and bail them out, leaving the ownership group that had to be over 30 people to get the oilers back to a manageable team that could compete. The Oilers management wasn't just a bunch of people that could throw money away to try and win a cup, they had to manage a budget while the canadian economy was weak, and you say thats mismanagement? Take a business class my friend.

Badat, you know I'm an Oilers fan, but this "We were so poor we couldn't compete" line has to end at some point, though I don't mean to accuse you alone in this.
A weak economy doesn't stop a team from drafting well, and the Oilers have consistently been schooled by other teams in this area. Their drafting definitely improved after Sather left the team, but teams like New Jersey and Detroit, picking towards the end of each round, have repeatedly made superior selections.
I'm not really aware of how many other GMs have hired their best friend as head coach, and watched him go year after years with the same results.
Fine; money broke up the dynasty, but the fact remains that they didn't make sure to acquire good enough talent in return for those players, and they didn't draft well enough. The economy was one aspect of their troubles, but many Oilers fan don't wish to look further than that.
