On what basis do you hate Sundin? Because he is European? Or is it because he is a big floating oaf, who lacks general motivation and when he grins you just want to smack him across the face? Or is it because you're a typical Leaf hater, and just hate anyone that has a leadership role with the Leafs?

Well, the problem with saying that he is just a floating oaf that takes up cap space is that Sundin happens to arguably be the best player on the team, and the Leafs organization has built the current team around what they consider a super-star center. That would seem to necessitate a fairly handsome salary, one which I personally feel, and I'm sure many Leaf fans do as well, he has earned.

People can have players they dislike and this is just one of the players in the NHL I don't care for.
