Will the panthers trade the draft pick away? the #1 draft pick? I would do it for some top end young talent in there mid 20's but not for anyone older cause there is a some good talent in this years draft.

Colorado might trade up for it, maybe to get a great goalie as a replacement for Roy but Fleury will have huge skates to fill. Other teams like Philidelphia who traded their goalie might want to trade up, Boston, Tampa Bay if Khabibulen leaves, Vancouver might as well. Cloutier is looking like he can't deliver and make the clutch saves in the playoffs he needs to. It all surrounds on goaltenders with Fluery I believe since this draft has probably the best in a while since the 1990 draft with Brodeur and a few others.

Looks like Dudely got smart, third pick isnt at all shabby and Penguins were after Fluery which wasn't what the panthers had in mind. Florida is perfect club for Horton because he will get alot of playing time and will learn the ropes.


As for the Avs in replacing Roy I think that they will find luck on the free agent market. Gigure is unrestircted (Group 2)... you never know what will happen when July 1 rolls around
