Default Henrik Lundqvist owns

The Devils. His streak of 18 straight starts allowing two or fewer goals against one team is the second longest streak in the NHL's modern era.
Since 1933-34.

welcome to the age of selective stats. In any given 15 minute span of watching sports programming an inordinate amount of these sorts of stats are pulled out of thin air (Elias Sports Bureau most of the time).

Back to the point of the OP...Lundy does own the devils. The Rangers have dominated them the last 2+ seasons.

Oh, wow. The Rangers are so good!
Before tonight, the Rangers have only scored 4 more goals than New Jersey, with 6 more games. What excellent offensive talent.
Hows Gomez doing for ya? Worth the 7 mil a year? I didnt think so.
Let the Rangers keep trapping games to shootouts. Its the only way they can win.

The funny thing is these are the same fans who bitched about the Devils playing the exact same kind of hockey the last few years. Now that the Rangers play it, they point out how the Rangers are ahead of the Devils in the standings in the middle of December.
