Petr has now missed ten consecutive games. If their not going to play him, I wish they would send him to Hartford so he can at least get some ice time. All this sitting around watching his team play without him has to take a toll on his state of mind.

He can't be sent down without clearing waivers which isn't going to happen. The Rangers aren't going to give him away for nothing.

I don't know why he is allowed to go to the minors without going through waivers. I thought that conditioning stints were only for injuries.

But in any case he finally played tonight and scored his first goal in 10 months. It's hard to understand why a player that tries as hard as he does and scored 55 goals his first two seasons never seems to get a break.

No, he never does get a break. Life is not fair to any of us. I was so thrilled when he got his goal the other night. It's not as if that's all he needs to solidify his position, but at least it will kep him from going to Hartford. Apparently that was the plan before he got his,"I'm staying in thr NHL", goal, but his agent said,"no". Big suprise. In the games following his come back goal, he has played well and hard(first NHL fight againsted Georges Laraque), and his willingness to take the body(Sidney Crosby). I hope this is the new style of playing we can look forward to seeing from Petr. Love ya kid!
