The Predators are averaging 12,810 in paid attendance through 12 home games, according to figures compiled by the team.
Paid attendance from the 13th home game, played last Saturday, has not been released.
The Predators need to average at least 14,000 in paid attendance to qualify for the NHL's full revenue sharing plan.
A year ago after 12 games the Predators were averaging 12,738 paid attendance, but went on to average 13,429 for the season.
