The St. Louis Blues signed left winger Paul Kariya to a three-year, $18 million deal on Sunday.
The Vancouver native appeared in 82 games for the Nashville Predators this past season, recording 24 goals and 76 points.
The 32-year-old was originally drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the first round (fourth overall) in the 1993 entry draft. He played seven seasons in Anaheim and captained the Ducks to the Stanley Cup final in 2003.
