Default Kariya expected to test the market

The Nashville Predators may want to keep veteran left wing Paul Kariya, but that doesn't mean he's itching to sign with the team.

Predators GM David Poile told the Nashville City Paper on Monday that he's hoping to sign Kariya, after the team dealt away Kimmo Timonen, Scott Hartnell and Tomas Vokoun.

"Paul is the most important player we have to talk to this week and see if he wants to be part of the team next year or not," Poile said.

Just say good byea to Paul Kariya. Why would he stay at this point in his career. He wants the cup, and its pretty obvious it is not going to happen with the "city to be named later" Predators.
