Fans of the Nashville Predators are quietly playing the waiting game.
And the silence from the team's new owner -- Canadian Jim Balsillie -- isn't making it any easier.
Outgoing owner Craig Leipold says Balsillie plans to make a good-faith effort to keep the team in Nashville.
But according to the Nashville Tennessean, Balsillie's silence may be having an effect on anxious Predators fans.
"I always say fear of the unknown is the worst," Joy Kimbrell, who has owned two lower-bowl season tickets since the team's inception in 1998, told the Tennessean. "If we knew one way or another what to expect, we could deal with it. Not knowing leaves us in limbo.
"It makes most loyal fans feel like we are a tradable asset. I would say we are disenfranchised, worried and bitter."
