Pond Hockey Tournaments
Me and some buddies were thinking about putting a team together this winter for a pond hockey tournament. Anyone who knows any information on this please share. I'm going to research it after my homework, but figured I'd check her to see if anyone knows anything. We are not 21, which I think will eliminate a lot of possibilities, and are looking for somewhere in the north east or Toronto area so those are the limitations.
Thanks!

I was able to find a tournament that would work with our ages, just need to wait for the dates. I'm guessing from the lack of responses no one knows that much on this topic, but if anyone has ever heard about this tournament let me know please.

Ive heard of it and if you are going to enter the tournament that you linked to, youd better bring your A game.
It may just be pond hockey, but theres some serious, very talented players who play in that tourney.
You might want to check out the movie, "Pond Hockey" to see what I mean.

It's okay, I wasn't really expecting anyone to know something about this, but figured I'd give it a shot. This would be quite the hike if me and my friends were to go through with it.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm watching it now. I'm only 30 minutes in, but they are only talking about the USA pond hockey tournament, do they talk about what I mentioned earlier? And as far as the competition goes we aren't looking to seriously contend. Besides, I just saw a team lose 40-2 so we couldn't be worse than that (I hope)

I finished watching the documentary, it was good. Did anyone notice if they mentioned the size of the nets, I'm going to go back and check myself. Although I am not the most handy person to say the least, I think I'm going to make my own, they seem simple enough.

standard pond hockey goal is 6" x 4 ft...we use 8" by 3', and if you paint the thing and put HDP plastic sheeting on the inside, it will last forever...oh, yeah, use wood screws (best is coated deck screws), not nails...
