I don't put too much weight on pre-season games, but one must admit that although the Sens almost had their full team (without Alfredsson and Gerber), I much prefer being on the winning end of a 5-0 game than the other way around. Especially considering that we only had half our team:

On a different note, it doesn't look like Alex Auld will be battling for the starting job in Ottawa and their defense has just lost too many key assets in recent years. I think it could be a long season in Ottawa...

This is great news, even though it's only pre-season game, it's still nice to see the Habs dominating the Sens. I agree with you, it's going to be a long season for the Sens.

Hopefully they miss the playoffs.

Les Canadiens started off slow in the pre-season but have finally picked it up. Should be a good game tonight as well, hopefully they can shut them out again.
