Good performance for our split team considering the opposition. Desjardins played excellent in there.

Here's hoping that Mathieu Carle, who's been taken out on a stretcher, is okay. The hit was legal, but it's yet another example of a player taking advantage of another player's vulnerability with a hit to the head...

Can't wait for the pre-season games to be over and for the season to start! I'm itching!

The biggest problem I have with the hit is that its a meaningless, preseason game, and a hit like that isn't going to establish anything. There is no needed emotion to spur the team on or anything. I don't think it was illegal, but it definitely wasn't necessary.
