Hey nothing wrong with a little fan wishfull thinking, besides he does have a point that the habs by september could be serious contenders if they continue to play their cards right (hell of a start at least, exclusive rights to negotiate sundin and aquiring Tangay is nothing less then a coup).

With that lineup the Habs definatly have a great chance but I doubt they come even close to the power of the detroit red wings..
the washington capitals will also be very strong next year, with the pittsburgh penguins

Again, if we still had Huet.. then wow.. imagine the possibilities

and I would also get rid of latendresse....i watched him what would be called last season now, 2007-2008, and tbh i think habs would be better off getting someone else.

Tell me, are the habs the oldest hockey team? 1909- 2009 that later joined the nhl?

were there any teams formed before the habs? My history knowledge doesnt go back as far as that.

Both the habs and the stanley cup are older than the NHL.
We won some cups before the NHL exist.

Yes I knew that. The habs won thwir first cup in 1916 i believe and the nhl was created in december 1917.

Yea. Habs are good club. Thats why my dad and I we 've always liked the habs. Difference is I have them as a second favorite team and habs are my dad's first favorite.
