Bouillon is the man and I spit on every habs fans talking about trading him for garbages.
Raised in the U.S.A but also in Montreal in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighborhood which is my neighbor and probably one of the toughest in the country , well known for being the zone of the Bikers war in the 90s.You can see on the ice he was raised here.Just like me.Props Francis.I guess thats what we call a diamond in the ruff.

What the heck, it's a slow day, I'll give that a try... not expecting to gain votes for popularity with some of the choices though!
1. Price (the future face of the franchise) 2. Hamrlik (the way he elevated his play in the playoffs is amazing) 3. Komisarek (gotta love the intensity and leadership) 4. Markov 5. Koivu (nothing I'd like more than seeing him raise the Cup over his head as team captain in Montreal, after everything he's been through) 6. Tanguay (at this point, although he hasn't played a game 7. Bégin (definitely the most underrated player on the team) The next 4 are all equal in my books: 8a. Plekanec 8b. Higgins 8c. A.Kostitsyn 8d. S.Kostitsyn 9. Latendresse (some are giving up too soon on him forgetting his age) 10. Chipchura (future defensive center of this team, with character) 11. Gorges (has shown great things last year) 12. Lapierre (he'd be higher if he dropped the gloves, finish what he's starting) 13. Kostopoulos 14. Halak (good young goalie, needs playing time to showcase what he can do. Won't get it here though unless Price gets hurt) 15. Bouillon 16. O'Byrne 17. Streit 18. Dandenault 19. Kovalev (most overrated, seen as a "star" because most don't remember what a true star looks like as it's been too long since we've had one!)
And if we can sign Sundin, he'll most likely rank #2 on that list. I've always like him as a player and the way he conducts himself.

You're a shame , at least you're not a Montrealer.
If anything , Kovalev was underrated last year , not even making the all-star.
I'm disapointed in your attitude
Sad , really...
The stars we had in the past were not just star but all-time legend with Beliveau , M.Richard , Harvey , Lafleur , Dryden , Plante , Robinson & Roy.Not fair to compare Kovalev with them.
As far as i'm concerned , stats are not the only thing , and Kovalev was IMO more dominant last year than Yvan Cournoyer.Talking about impact on a game.Kovalev was better than Mats Naslund and I know a lot of people truly love Mats and I know he made 100 pts with us but overall Kovy was better. He was the man last year.He also had a lot of charisma.

I fully agree that we certainly can't compare Kovalev with the greats we've seen in the past wearing this uniform, no ifs and buts about it. What I'm saying is that it's been so long since we've had a true offensive star that most think that Koivu and Kovalev are stars. Proof? Compare them to the league's elite. That's what I'm talking about.
He could be traded tomorrow and I wouldn't shed a tear. I totally dislike the player, the man, and I feel that he's totally overrated. Just an opinion...

Despite my attitude sometimes ( and im just having fun ) im a really intelligent hockey watcher and player btw.
I know Saku Koivu was never a star.Just a real good player and good leader who gave his heart. But Kovalev in the 2007-2008 season was a star.Just him.His charisma , domination in the games , not talkign about statistics , just what you see when you watch the games , his elite skills , his ressurection which made a great story , evne his long blond hairs are part of the star he was this year , they gave him an *image* , and a pretty familiar one .He was an icone , a real one.His stickhandling , his shots , his clutch all year long , his leadership , his attitude and his new defensive responsabilities made him a star last season.
I truly hope he does it again.
All in all , I prefer Kovalev this year vs Richer , Naslund , Koivu and probably any forward since Guy Lafleur.

I'm hoping that my comment didn't make you or anyone else think that I was insinuating that you weren't intelligent, as it truly wasn't the intent. I simply disagree with the assessment on Kovalev, knowing full well that I could be in minority thinking that way.

Kovalev is overrated. There are far too many times throughout the year that he looks disinterested. Maybe his isn't really a team player.

I would never had admit it , but I was furious about not having a great fighter on the Habs the last few years.
Being a big fan of Hockey fights and remembering the good old days ( the last was Brashear I think that we can call a great fighter ) I was always a little bit nervous abotu other teams going nuts and injuring our players knowing they would have to face...Tom Kostopaulos.
Komisarek was too important to the team to fight all the time , and Bouillon can hold his own cause he's a real warrior and very strong for his height , but there's a limit.
NOW WE GOT LARAQUE !!!
GEORGES THE KING OF THE JUNGLE.SOUNDS LIKE A MOVIE TO ME !!!!
aHAhaHAhaHAhaAHAhhaHA
Let me laugh , I just hope Chara & Laraque fight a lot , so we can see the tall guy in the penalty box all the time aHAhaHAhaHAhaHAh I dont even care who wins the fight aHAhaHAhaHAHaH in fact yes , I do hope Georges breaks everyone face.
Everybody is talking about other teams movement , a lot forget that we add Tanguay who had 81 pts before last season , we get rid of stupid players like Ryder and by some magical irony he got overpaid by the Boston Ruins , we got rid of this defensive and physical liability name Streit , we add Marc Denis to back up the 2 young goalie who didnt need it anyway , The Kostitsyn brothers will get better just like Latendresse , im confidant Kovalev will dominate once again , O'Byrne will progress , Gorges is starting to be awesome thanks to Craig Rivet not even talking about Max Pacioretty who's turning into a steal for the 25th overall. We also got rid of this little fag that was Grabovski , and we f***ed the leafs big time on this one.
Prediction for the east:
1.Montreal Canadiens
2.Philadelphia Flyers
3.Washington Capitals
4.Pittsburgh Penguins
5.Boston Bruins
6.New Jersey Devils
7.New York Rangers
8.Ottawa Senators
