OR we leave the bet as it is, Kovalev or no Kovalev. Your choice
no way , let's keep the bet like it was.

Im 110% sure to win with the terrific line-up we have.

A lot of unknown league-wide but very good players.

Specially Andrei Kostitsyn.

Remember that name.

EDIT: RIGHT NOW , i'm shopping your future avatar oh god I have some great ones already , its gonna be difficult to choose.

Of course the Habs are going to win the cup, but again I'm a fan

They're going to be a big surprise in the league in coming years with the talent development and if Gainey stays smart (that in not giving in to the 7 million backseat GMs in the province) we have a decent long term contender (and not one of those sell your future for old has been rental players).

But I think any self respecting amateur or professional "analyst" has to admit that the Habs are a top tier team (2n in the east, 5th in the league) and they've been consistently in that area since the start of the year (so it's not just a fluky everyone lost while they won 5 games)

Am I sure they'll win the cup? Hell no, they still need a few things
Do they have a chance? Hell yeah, team play and decent dept is key to win the cup.
Do they have good odds? Certainly, they're consistent and maybe the best passing team in the league.

People don't realise how strong and CONSISTANT we are.
We are the second more consistant team in the league IMO after Detroit.
Ottawa had a HUGGGE losing period with heatley , alfy and spezza in their line-up losing 7 games in a row.
WE never had this kind of HUGE losing period.
The majority of the time , when we lose , the guys bounce back the game after.
Kovalev is the most underrated player in the league this year.
He's so good it's unbelievable.
We are the real deal.
People are so pessimist about the best franchise of all-time.

Or more thinking your statements are the result of you doing your nickname. Being pessimistic is from a decade of having front office folks put there for things other then their hockey knowledge. Thankfully this has finally been rectified, and we get to enjoy the results

I agree.
I also think because of this 15 years in hell the pessimist attitude is entering into people's mind and they don't even know it.

LOL. the habs aren't winning anything this year unfortunately. the drive for 25 will continue. we have a GREAT team, and it's only gonna get better from this season on. also, if we prove to be serious contenders in the playoffs, maybe we can have a chance of signing that one superstar we havn't had since guy lafleur.

i mean, tampa is going down bigtime and fast. vinny becomes UFA at the end of next season i think...and i'll just keep dreaming now!!
