Sure, they why make a big deal about it?

What was disgusting about it? You constantly see goaltender interference calls (against the Flyers anyway) where the offensive player is pushed into the the opposing goaltender (which is the wrong call), so why should a call be made when the defenseman is pushed into his own goaltender? If the league says the call is right, then the call is right and there's nothing you can say. It was two guys fighting for space for the puck. Tough. How is it goaltender interference in the opponent never touches the goaltender?

Mostly in favor of the Caps.

That's your opinion, not what's actually in the rules.

Just because you don't like the rule doesn't mean the league can't be taken seriously.

Be reasonable.

You be reasonable, that's not how the call would go, that'd be either high sticking or goaltender interference. Last I checked, high sticking is called even though the player didn't touch the opponent, his stick did, but that's the rule. Or is that a stupid rule that makes the league impossible to take seriously, too?

By the way, let's see how this started:

JT your either blind or dumb or possibly both to not acknowledge that the referees had an important role in the outcome of the flyers-capitals series.
the goal in game 7 where huet was pushed out of his crease was quite obviously an example of this.
Either your too biased or too blind to acknowledge that, you choose.
Those kind of referee decisions is what is killing hockey and making it hard to sell in the states, it's a joke.

Looks like you started this nonsense by being an ass. You can disagree with an opinion without being a jerkoff. So, next time you want to talk about internet commandos, think before you type. Ask yourself, would I say this to a person's face if we were having this conversation in person?
