ok I just can't stand him anymore, he's spoiled by the media and I suspect the team's marketing department.

That goals assist ratio demonstrate his play, he stands at the corner of the net when Koivu Battles guys bigger then him to get him the puck and tip in. Worst of all he misses soooooo many dang open nets and one on goalie chances.
He still needs to grow some balls, whenever he body checks it's just before heading to the bench and in after whistle scrums he never, NEVER looks at the players in the eyes and\or face. He doesn't get IN FRONT of the net and use his size, rarely skates hard to get the puck, especially in the corners and his work ethic is very questionable.
Maybe he's getting too much of a free pass by the press, people talk about him like he's so sensitive, how he's still young. News flash, if you pamper someone they'll never learn and won't get better. I'm amazed koivu isn't more pissed at seeing that big glob on his line when Higgins works so hard on the third. If they want to market a French Canadian so badly I say bring back the Latendress-Lapierre-dandenault (or begin when he heals)line but that big lard is dragging down the top line (well saku's since the top line really is kovalev's).
If he's so weak that he can't take a criticism I don't think he deservs to play in the NHL, much less Le Grand Club
