While goalie Yann Danis isn't expected to crack the Canadiens' lineup this season, he might be plying his trade for another NHL team, reports the Montreal Gazette.
Danis has slipped down on the Canadiens' depth chart with the emergence of young stars Carey Price and Jaroslav Halak, and he's working hard in training camp to prove that he can contribute somewhere else.
"I'm fighting for my career," Danis told the Gazette.
Added Canadiens' head coach Guy Carbonneau: "He came into camp in great shape and he's been working hard."
