Recently the Habs had a fans jamboree where montrealers could meet the players and according to RDS, this even was so popular you would think the Habs won the stanley cup, infact there were more people to attend the jamboree event than there were for the Anaheim stanley cup parade. Whats more outstanding is the fact that in 2 pre season games, the games were sold out and were talking about pre season . All I can say is that the Habs marketing team is just strong, its a shame, it cant be like that for the rest of the league where people dont even know a player in their own team

Sadly, it doesnt' surprise me a bit. Then agian, havign almost a century of history doesnt' hurt either.
