Still boggles my mind how Carbs put guys like Rivet and Perezhogin in the rafters and kept guys like Kovalev and Begin on. I live in Montreal and have several french relatives and I for one believe the only reason why Steve is on the team is because he's french. He is absolutly useless, he'll throw a hit, fan on a slapshot, throw another hit, and take a useless high sticking penalty which results in a major turning point in your team' season.(Oh yeah, I'm still bitter)

I disagree with you, Perezhogin never made any impact on the ice and wasnt consistent enough or else he wouldof have had moe opportunity. Rivet was crap too last year with the Habs, took way too many useless penalties, so it was good for us to get rid of him even though he's changed his style, but then again he plays with a better defense. I do agree with you on Kovalev, but not on Begin who is a perfect 4th liner, not a star player, but does his role and job very well and always gives his 100% on the ice
