I will personnaly kill Marouelli, how many calls will he give to non penalties on the Habs, even the commentators couldnt believe them, whats worse is since Larue(the other ref) missed on what should of been a 4 penalty minute to Carolina, he didnt even make one single penalty call.
Dammit.....2-1 OT loss......effectively letting Carolina back into the series.
I haven't been able to watch the game yet, I'll download it later but by the comments from the radio guys it sounds like they got ripped off by the refs!!:censure:

absolutley disgusting game, disgusting! could that game have been gift wrapped any more by the refs? I mean what carolina player barley bled and Komo gets 4 minutes while Koivu has blood gushing out his eye and the ref can't see it! not to mention that hit in overtime! that should have been a penalty and what he turns it around calls Montreal. If you're going to turn the blind eye to infractions against montreal you have to turn the blind eye against carolina as well.

I didn't see the game but once again, I refuse to blame a loss on the refs... that's just a lame excuse and I've seen fans cry foul too many times this season. From the highlights I've seen, Cam Ward was the difference for Carolina. Let's not forget that they finished 2nd and we finished 7th, so thinking of a sweep is a wee bit unrealistic!

My sentiments exactly. The entire bar was in shock when Koivu skated off with blood streaming from his eye and no penalty was called. How on earth did they think he started to bleed? The replay clearly shows that the hit wasn't innicent. :censure: :censure: Ihope the farking eye hole refs get punished for that over sight.

The ref is not the only reason they lost, its just part of it. I mean he gave the right penalties to the Habs, but to Carolina they seemed to have a blind eye, not only about the Koivu incident, but even the penalty they should of given to Carolina right before Plekanec's penalty (even that one was debatable). Overall the refs were poor and I hope they never ref another playoff match again.
