but he is not what canadiens are looking for he is small one thing he is the 4th highest player he lost his scoring touch. So it is just a waste of money. Also that he can't be put into the 4th line and 2 lines are basically full so he won't work with the canadiens.

audette is done, he hasnt had good numbers since his late days with buffalo and atlanta, even if mtl put him on waivers i cant see any team picking him up

Well I think there going to be stuck with him. No one's going to pick him up on waivers and if he is traded we'll have to take someone elses scrap. By keeping him there going to have to pay him this year, but if there's a Lockout next year( and there will be) thye won't have to pay next years contract. If they release him they have to pay him.
