Default There's little leadership in Montreal's dressing room...

Saku is a good player but he can't provide the leadership a captain should demonstrate. Who do you think is the one player that young players should look to?

My answer: Sad to say but besides Quintal there's none.

Thats probably the stupidest comment I have read today....What is with all the Koivu bashing in Montreal. I am very active on another board and all I read is why Koivu should be traded or not be captain. IMO it's BS.

Koivu is our captain and he leads the team on the ice and off the ice! Why do you say "he can't provide the leadership a captain should demonstrate". Let me guess you watch 110%..you are brainwashed by the french media(110% and RDS).

You reacting like a Toronto fan! Woooo you are very active on an other board heh? Great sources Toe blake! I'm sure you get a lot of insiders in Saint John! I've read many comments you have made and you like to bash french people (like you juste did). I don't think that racism has is place on this board... maybe on your OTHER board it's ok, who knows!

As a reply to your insults, i say i am french canadian and NO i don't give a damn about what RDS ou 110%! Yes they stink! Happy now junior? I'm always the one bitching RDS here in Montreal because they think they are bigger God... Anyway, think first about what you throw in the face of people, you're very emotional! It's good to love the Habs and i do, But be like ex-referee Ron fournier (another french canadian goes down, you like it heh?!) and think that everythink is cool with the team!

The reason why i said Koivu is not a good leader is because he is always whining about his playing time and you know what? When an other player scores and goes to the bench giving high fives to everybody, Koivu often hurries up to go on the ice rather than congratulating the player! Now that's great leadership!

Maybe you didn't get all the facts anyway.

Are you stupid?Quintal.....all he does is give away the puck.Koivu demonstrates leadership skills on and off the ice. If you watch 110% well.....that show is all BS.Its just to boost ratings.Koivu is the best captain we've had in a long time and Gainey wouldn't trade him after he just recently gave him a new contract.

You just don't get it! don't you? I said i didn't watch RDS and 110% Very hard to understand i amdit! You really think a captain who's complaining about ice time is a good captain!? I like the fact that you mentionned Sheldon as an assistant, i have a tremendous amount of respect for him.

I also admire Gainey, but he is the same guy who gave big money to Audette and Turgeon in Dallas! Ouchie! So i don't think Koivu's contract should be a problem. One thing is for sure, i don't want to see Mike Peca in a Canadien's uniform... i'll keep Koivu over him.

First off just because I'm in Saint John doesn't mean that I don't hear things about the Habs. I read the Gazette online and many other sources straight from Montreal. Unless you are buddies with Gainey there is no reason to think that you have more insight to the Habs then anyone else.

Sure Koivu may not rush to the bench and give high fives to everyone but I don;t need a cheerleader as my captain. AND he never complained about ice time. I'm pure sure you are referring to article that RDS reported, which I think was takin completely out of context but whatever.

The only french people that I would insult is the french media not the people. If you take offense to that then thats your problem.

I'll take a wild stab here and assume that you also think that Ribs is better then Koivu

Man, you are so right! Everything you say incredibly true! I'd like to trade my brain for yours! Oh by the way, how many games have you seen at Bell Centre the past two seasons??? What do you mean " I'm pure sure you are referring to article that RDS reported" Since you are kind of slow digging things, l'll metion it again, i haven't read anyting from RDS about that topic! Since you are always mentionning RDS i assume you go on their website quite often...

I don't think Ribeiro is a better hockey player than Koivu...but i hope you are proud that he is doing a good job this season... probably not.. he is french.

I'm a cool dude... just don't put words in my mouth or attact people from different races or backgrounds. Plus begining a sentence with "Are you stupid?" just doesn't sound good to anyone. (There's always the Trash Talk section)

Have a good one too! And NHL hockey resumes tonight! Yeah!
