Default What's going on?

;;:: You can't tell me that the team in Florida is the same one that played Philadelphia last week!? :?: It looked like the guys still had sand between their toes from yesterday's day off 8) , which kept them from skating...

You can't win a game when only Theodore and Souray played the whole 60 minutes!

Rivet, Quintal, Bouillon, Markov, where were you tonight? Koivu, Ryder, Audette, Perreault, all coughing-up the puck for turnovers... You should be ashamed to collect your paycheck for your effort tonight ops: !

Even Ribiero's line spent more time in their zone chasing the "powerful" Panthers :::

Ok, I feel better now... <>&: until tomorrow at least!

These two have been winning Montreal games, single handlely.

Sure, Zednik, Ryder, and Riberio have also been helping out. But Theo and Souray have saved, and won many a game by themselves.

That doesn't say much for a team effort.

People can argue team effort, but talent is still a pretty good element to have these days as well, which Montreal is not the most blessed with. Its not that they are lacking good players, but they're depth is clearly not up to the level of some other teams.

Very true, we lack in many areas...which is why we are currently in a rebuilding phase. BG has only been the GM for a few months. Most of our "future" depth is playing in the minors right now and with UFA at the end of this season this team is going to look a lot different next year with a lot of new faces.

But to be honest, I am not totally dissappointed with the season to this point...we are at .500 and currently in the playoffs. If you look at the teams below Montreal in the standings, they teams that we can compete with and have a legitimate shot at beating out for a playoff spot. Only time will tell but be patient Hab fans.

Inconsistency is just a part of the process...this team has to learn how to win hockey games...we have had two blown 3rd period leads this week which is unacceptable but its also something you can learn a lot from.

It's true that the talent is dim (or young), but where there's a lack of talent, there’s a need to compensate with hard work. The best example: the Minnesota Wild!
