Default Ryder.....rookie of the year

I think if he keeps this up he'll win it.So far Ribeiro and him have been the best Canadiens forwards

He's good alright...but there are better, so I'd have to say NO

Maybe you've heard of the Pens new goalie..... If the Pens can keep him, I'd say he got it.

Yes I've seen those players play but I mentioned Ryder because this is the Canadiens posting place. If I wanted to talk about King or someone else I'd go in General hockey chat or canaucks forums

Forget rookie of the year, too early. What about rookie of the month? Did they pick a name for the month of October? If they did who? If not, who do you think will win it in November?

Whoa soo many questions.

i think Ryder is a sweet player...he might win the award and he might not...have to check back to this thread in May and see how he is doing.

As much as I like Ryder, the award was handed out right now I would give to King. Ryder only has 2 goals and I think King is at about 6 or 7. But the season isn't even a 1/4 of a way through yet so lots can happen. Ryder may only have 2 but he could easily have 7 or 8. If his luck changes a little then he should have a shot at the Calder.

As for Fleury winning it....its going to be tough because he faces 40 shots a night and its going to be hard to put up good numbers facing that kind of rubber but he will be in the race.
