Rico Fata 2003-2004: 13 GP, 7 G, 4 A, 11 P

Alexei Kovalev 2003-2004: 13 GP, 2 G, 7 A, 9 P

that's impressive...7 goals..wow...in the long run it was an ok trade for both teams...but overall Kovalev is worth more then what they got....they should have asked for money also in the deal....something they need.

They did end up getting money in the deal, I'm not sure how much exactly. It was undisclosed.

Fata got how many of those goals, playing with Lemieux? Sure, not all of them.

BUT..it must raise confidence to play with the guy, or even on the same team.

Sure Kovalev is not producing. Why? Lemieux. Also he is on the rangers..poor dude. Look at Anson carter, the guy has 3 points this season, in 13 games!

If I were a hockey player..I'd ask to be traded anywhere but NY.

if i was on Lemieux's team i bet i'd suck like ****...just because i'd be in awww....just seeing lemieux in person when i did i couldn't move...it was amazing...playing...skating on the ice with him...that would be hard..and if you mess up like an ex canuck did when he scored on his own net this season i'd be so scared with Lemieux was there....wouldn't want to let him down.

Perrault will be a healthy scratch yet again tonight

Perreault feels left out: Veteran centre Yanic Perreault will be a healthy scratch tonight for the third consecutive game.

"It's tough when you're not in the lineup," Perreault said. "You want to play and help the team win. But (coach Claude Julien) has decided to go with Saku Koivu and Mike Ribeiro on the top two lines."

Perreault, who is in the last year of a contract that pays him $2.8 million, said there has been no suggestion that the Canadiens are planning to trade him, and he wants to stay in Montreal.

"I signed here for less money than I might have made elsewhere because I want to play here," said Perreault, who signed as a free agent in July 2001. "I'm not looking to move, but if I go a month, six weeks, without playing, well. ..."

Julien said the possibility exists for Perreault or Ribeiro to move to a wing, but for the time being he wants to see Perreault work harder.

Said Julien: "He cares, but I want him to show more effort and be the player we know he can be."
Looks like trouble is brewing fast
