Default Chalk up another one!

Well the Habs lost again tonight 2-1 to the Sabres. The thing with this team is that they are not playing bad but they just can't catch a break. Personally I think they have played good enough to win their last 3 games but haven't been able to capitalize on their chances.

I liked the lineup that Julien went with tonight and I hope he sticks with it for tommorrows game.

Koivu looked great in his first game of the year and he will only get better as he gets his legs. Also his return showed that Zednik is a much better player playing along side him. Zednik I think had like 7 or 8 shots and a few great chances.

Theodore needs to make that "save" for them. Its seems the Habs will press and press then when the opposing team counter attacks he lets one in. He needs to be there for him. If I was Julien I would stick with him for Saturday night.

I know it doesn't look good on paper but I think as long as they continue to play well then the puck will start to go in and the wins will follow. We just have to be patient. But it is hard to win when your PP and PK are like 25th in the league :?

Patience is a virtue

But I say fire Julien soon if the team drops under 500 many a game.

Then bring in Larry Robinson. Or go with a youthful coach in Ted Nolan

The rumors at the start of the season were that Gainy was not a big fan of Julien and was waiting for an opertunity to get rid of him.

Yeah, I read those too.

It would be understandable that he would want his own coach.

Julien has shown glimpses of good coaching. But the team isn't playing for him. I don't say fire him yet..but if the Habs start to slip way down..then yeah fire him.

An established NHL coach is perhaps what the Habs need.
